During 2020, we were not able to have our usual outreach visitors.
As we prepare for re-opening members of the Outreach Team are excited to welcome our visitors back to Minsteracres after 17th May. We have a full programme of a variety of groups coming to spend time with us during the spring and summer months.
The groups of people coming to spend time with us are mainly from the north east. The groups who spend time with us are varied: they support carers, people affected by homelessness, people affected by mental ill health, asylum seekers and refugees, and kinship carers
We have family groups coming during the spring half term and the school summer holidays, and are planning programmes for children and adults to enjoy the beautiful environment here at Minsteracres.
We are aware of the impact of the last year on many people and hope that spending time at Minsteracres will support and begin to restore people’s wellbeing.
