Retreats

                                                       

We offer an annual programme of retreats, which includes provision for individuals, groups and parishes. Whether you want to come on a structured retreat or simply take time out for whatever reason we welcome you.  We are happy to offer you guidance whilst you are here or you may decide just to have some space to yourself. We welcome people of all faiths or none to come and enjoy the peace and prayerfulness at Minsteracres.

We have a number of resources for reflection to help you.  There is our pilgrim walk--a reflective walk through our grounds, the Trasna (labyrinth), our Cross of Hope , stations of the cross , prayer spaces , the Peace Garden and our art studio as well as green gym activities in partnership with The Conservation Volunteers

Events and Activities

                                                      

There are also a number of events during the course of the year ranging from musical concerts, art exhibitions, the Big Green Weekend in October each year and even star gazing.  Please keep an eye on the home page for further details. 

Are you looking for a venue to organise your own event?   Look no further.  We can accommodate up to 80 people for residential or day retreats. We offer our facilities so that you can arrange your own tailor made events. To find out more and to discuss various options please contact us  

  Our Youth Centre , which is self-catering with dormitories and separate accommodation for group leaders is available specifically to youth groups.
