Hope can be hard to hold on to when so much that is happening in our world feels hopeless. Yet Jesus declares that he comes to bring life – life in all its fullness. During this retreat weekend we will reflect on some of the many seeds of hope waiting to be planted in our life’s soil today. Where and how might we be part of that planting? How can we help fragile new growth to flourish and protect it from what might threaten it? What fruits might it bear, and how can we bring these fruits to a hungry and desperate world? The retreat will take place from Friday 3 November at 7:00pm until Sunday 5 November at 2:00pm The retreat will be led by Margaret Silf.  She is a Roman Catholic lay person who has been trained by the Jesuits in accompanying others in prayer. She is the author of ‘Landmarks’, ‘Taste and See’ and many other books.
