Flowering–a retreat led by the Creative Arts Retreat Movement
Monday 14th - Friday 18th May
Flowering is a beautiful way to describe how the spiritual life deepens and matures, and even buds again. It’s something celebrated in poetry and there will be the opportunity to enjoy some great poems as well as doing our own writing to explore this theme. Each day has a balance of poetry, worship and free time, with silence kept overnight. People of considerable experience or none at all, and from whatever kind of church background, are welcome.
This retreat will be led by Mary Gilbert and Jock Stein of the Creative Arts Retreat Movement. Mary Gilbert is a Church of England minister, and Jock Stein is a published poet who used to run a conference centre in Scotland. This retreat begins on Monday 14 May at 6.30pm and ends on Friday 18 May at 2pm
