At the end of October Fr. Aloyce Babene left Minsteracres and returned to the Passionist community in his native Tanzania. Fr. Aloyce arrived in England at the end of 2015. During the first couple of years he combined his ministry in the retreat centre and parish with studies in Newcastle which he successfully completed with a Masters in Business Administration. He then continued to be a member of our community and helped out where he could.
In Tanzania he will use his acquired knowledge and skills in his new ministry in a school that is run by the Passionist community. We wish him well in his new ministry. ‘Kwaheri na Baraka nyingi’ – Goodbye and many blessings!
