'Minsteracres Retreat Centre aims to offer hospitality to people of all faiths an none, with a special welcome for people who find themselves on the margins of church and society. The Centre provides a space of welcome and hospitality for people to take time out to reflect and be refreshed. It also offers a variety of activities that focus on spiritual and personal development and aims at empowering people to live their life to the full. Volunteers and employees work closely together towards this end.'

Coming Retreats:
Young People's Beginning Experience YPBE Team
This weekend is for young people (over 11 years) who have lost a parent through death, separation or divorce. It is led by the young team members and adults that are there in a supporting role. Holy Week Retreat Mark-Robin Hoogland CP & Minsteracres Team
We will follow Jesus on his journey from the room of the Last Supper on Holy Thursday, through the darkness of Good Friday and the waiting of Holy Saturday to the life of Easter Sunday. Mark-Robin Hoogland is a Passionist priest who works as a University Chaplain. He has a PhD in Systematic Theology and has written books on the Passion of Christ and on prayer. The Joy of Creation CAFOD & Minsteracres Team
This is a weekend for families to enjoy creation and to explore ways of being good stewards of this precious gift from God. Members of CAFOD will give input and there will be workshops on organic gardening, art with recycled materials and increasing our insight in the natural world. CAFOD is the official overseas development and relief agency of the Catholic Church in England and Wales.

Beginning Experience BE Team
This weekend is for people who find themselves single again through divorce, separation or the death of a loved one. The BE team have all experienced this themselves and will be able to help you work through your grief and pain. The weekend offers space to heal and begin again. Beginners Retreat MinsteracresTeam .
This weekend offers a gentle introduction to an Individually Guided Retreat. The retreat is in silence and the programme is flexible according to the needs and wishes of the individual retreatant. There is a daily personal meeting with the retreat guide to reflect on each day and to help the person see where and how God is working in his/her life.
